Cultural and social contribution activities
In our business activities, we are committed to the development of global human resources, and as part of our cultural and social contribution activities, we actively support the activities of artists and athletes who are making their mark on the world.
Specifically, we have sponsored professional golfer Miho Sugiyama, who continues to be active both in Japan and abroad, including as a participant in the Golf Digest Japan Drakon Tournament (2019 champion) and the 2019 World Long Drive Championship; we have also sponsored the Adobe Creative Magazine and we provide a variety of support, such as language learning support for up-and-coming artist Keeenue, who was selected as one of Adobe Creative Magazine's '30 Japanese Artists for the World', and for men's professional golf player Akuryu Iwasaki, who has achieved excellent results on the domestic tour since turning professional in 2008, and is expected to make great strides in the future.
Language learning support
For more than 40 years, our company has been developing a language business based on English conversation, with the aim of training people to work globally.
We also actively support Japanese language education for overseas personnel who are willing to work in Japan. Through the operation of the Linguage Japanese Language School, there is a company-wide effort to donate reference books for overseas personnel who want to learn Japanese and work in Japan.
By providing textbooks and reference books for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, as well as novels and manga written in Japanese, free of charge, we support foreign students who are working on learning Japanese by giving them the opportunity to experience the language and learn it more actively.
